Rustbelt Equine, LLC specializes in equine and canine body work. We utilize sports massage therapy, red light and near infrared light therapy, and kinesiology tape to help your equine or canine partner feel well and reach his or her maximum potential.
Sports massage therapy utilizes compression and direct pressure to increase blood flow and deliver oxygen to the muscles. It is an effective and a non-invasive method of relieving muscle tension.
Light therapy works at a cellular level. Body tissue absorbs the light when it is applied directly to the skin, converting it to cellular energy. It improves blood flow in the area being treated, speeding healing and minimizing pain. We offer a combination of red light near infrared light.
Kinesiology tape decompresses skin and underlying tissue, which works to reduce inflammation and relieve pain. It also increases proprioception, promoting proper movement and overall body condition.
